About Bec

Bec is a qualified and registered teacher with the Teachers Registration Board Tasmania.

She holds up to date first aid training at certificate 2 level. She also has a Diploma in Costuming and an Undergraduate Degree where she majored in Creative writing, Media studies and Theatre. She worked as a performing artist with "Watercarriers Dance Theatre" and "A Good Red Playback Theatre Company" under the auspice of CAF (Melbourne based National Arts Network) for 5 years.

Her personal experience as an artist as well as a teacher has given her the skills to holistically develop students’ abilities in the performing arts. Her present work as a local primary school Chaplain brings with it, a heart to care for each class member so they each feel welcomed and valued.
