Classes
Creative Dance Level 1
- 30 minute Class.
- Structured dance phrases based on contemporary dance technique.
- Improvised creative activities.
- Designed for 5-7 year olds but students may be advanced at Bec’s discretion.
- Younger students may be accepted if they show that they can participate. Parent/Guardian may be required to assist where necessary to continue enrolment.
- In Term 4, we will explore a different style: Hip Hop.
Ballet Basics
- 30 minute Class.
- Designed for all ages of children as an introduction to Ballet with a focus on basic technique.
- A well known, set syllabus offers a fun foundation for future progression.
- Designed to complement the other dance classes.
Creative Dance Level 2
- 30 minute Class.
- Structured dance phrases based on contemporary dance technique.
- Improvised creative activities.
- Designed for 8-13 year olds.
- In Term 4, we will explore a different style: Hip Hop.
Dance Extension
- 20 minute addition to Dance Level 2.
- Designed to extend older or more experienced students.
- Enrolment in Dance Level 2 is a prerequisite.
- Enrolment at Bec’s discretion.
Mixed Drama
- 60 minute Class.
- Activities that encourage group trust.
- Improvisational games to improve acting skills.
- Script work, Rehearsals & Performance Opportunities.
Term 3 Rehearsal Class
- Running Term 3 only and Subject to Numbers.
- 60 minute Class designed to rehearse for performance opportunity.
- Open to all Dance and Drama students committed to the performance.
- Attendance at all classes is required (excusing sickness).
- Enrolment in a Dance or Drama class in Term 2&3 is a prerequisite for involvement.
